WOOD SHAPING and SCORCHING

Wood lathing is a large part of out process forming beautiful and intricate shapes to enhance our metal pieces. We work lovingly, sympathetic to grain and structure to give the right result for our items.

As charring technicians we burn each plank individually, then, depending on the desired finish, scrape it with a stiff brush and seal it. The process is messy and time-consuming, but the result is rich texture and luscious dark hues. Our scorched wood can range from slightly toasted with a pronounced woodgrain to a pitch-black “gator skin.” You can have a matte or a gloss finish.

BEAUTIFUL and UNUSUAL LEATHER and METAL WORK

Our modern approach to metalworking processes includes a number of machine tools capable of creating a precise, useful and beautiful pieces. Our designs are innovative as well as functional.

Our leather shaping and forming is always by hand and we can use objects or even moulds as forms. Carving and stamping may be done prior to or after moulding. Leather adds a functional and luxury feel to steampunk and industrial items.
